A web hosting has from the begining only one domain, called the main domain. An addon domain can more or less be considered as a web hosting account inside of the web hosting account. It can display a separate website if you use a separate folder, or you can point it to the folder of an existing website on the account and display this website instead. You will also be able to create email addresses the same way as for the main domain.
